John Terry is one of 10 names on the shortlist for the PFA Fans' Player of the season award.

The Chelsea captain was snubbed by his peers for the Players' Player of the Year award, which eventually went to Blues team-mate Eden Hazard.

Terry, 34, scored his eighth goal of the season on Sunday in a campaign where he has led the Blues to the title after playing every minute of every game.

He faces stiff competition, however, from two Chelsea team-mates and players from Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham.

One voter will be chosen to present the winner with the award in person.

The shortlist will be whittled down to the five players with the highest number of votes on Tuesday, 19 May, with the final deadline to vote at midnight on Monday, 25 May. The winner will then be announced on Tuesday, 26 May.
