Chelsea are rampant, and it takes a good save from Stekelenburg in the Everton goal to deny Costa an acrobatic volley on the dge of the area.
This is getting embarrassing for Everton. Chelsea are toying with them. Costa strode through the middle, drawing four Toffees defenders toward him. Hazard, in oceans of space on the left, struck Costa's pass first time, which Stekelenburg can only parry into the path of the onrushing Pedro. The Spaniard taps in a deserved fifth and Everton fans begin streaming toward the exit.
Fifteen minutes to go and Chelsea are just stroking the ball around, Everton players trailing in their wake all over the gaff. Do they want more? There's certainly time for this to get even worse for the Toffees.
The easiest of ways to go top of the table on Bonfire night. Chelsea were scintillating from the first whistle, Everton faded abysmally and Conte's side have the advantage in the title race.

Chelsea celebrate during the victory against Everton as they returned to the top of the Premier League
Eden Hazard was satisfied with his two-goal showing as the Blues returned to the top of the table: "It was an unbelievable win. We scored five beautiful goals and could have scored more. I am enjoying my football, we are playing well, we are creating a lot of chances and scoring a lot of goals. Top of the table is a good place and we want to stay there until the end."
