Pochettino and Emery reflect on the North London derby

Liverpool faltered in their pursuit of the Premier League title, with their failure to beat Everton allowing Man City to remain top.

Pep Guardiola’s side put in a dominant display at Bournemouth, but did the bare minimum on the score sheet with Riyad Mahrez hitting the winner.

The north London derby produced plenty of drama as Tottenham rallied from behind against Arsenal to salvage a point, though they have still been dragged into a battle to make the top four.

Chelsea duly closed the gap, winning at Fulham to move within five points of Spurs with a game in hand, while Man Utd beat Southampton in a thriller thanks to Romelu Lukaku’s double.

Crystal Palace also continued their fine away from under Roy Hodgson, moving eight points clear of relegation. With Burnley and Brighton five clear of the drop zone, it appears to be a straight battle between Southampton and Cardiff, who are two points from safety.
