Raheem Sterling has been dropped from the starting line-up for Liverpool's final game of the season.

The forward, 20, has been agitating for a move and on Friday talks between his camp and Liverpool were cancelled after an outburst from his agent, Aidy Ward.

Ward said that Sterling would not accept '£900,000-a-week' to stay at Anfield and was likely to move to either Manchester City or Chelsea this summer.

One of Brendan Rodgers' key players for the last two seasons, the Liverpool boss has decided to name him among the substitutes.

Sterling is one of three changes made after the team lost 3-1 to Crystal Palace in Steven Gerrard's final match at Anfield. Mamadou Sakho, Lucas Lieva and Joe Allen come in for Sterling, Dejan Lovren and Jordon Ibe.

Asmir Begovic's return is the only change for Stoke.

LINE-UPS:

Stoke: Begovic, Cameron, Shawcross, Muniesa, Pieters, NZonzi, Whelan, Adam, Walters, Arnautovic, Diouf.

Subs: Butland, Ireland, Odemwingie, Wilson, Sidwell, Crouch, Wollscheid.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Sakho, Moreno, Lucas, Allen, Henderson, Gerrard, Lallana, Coutinho.

Subs: Ward, Toure, Lovren, Lambert, Sterling, Ibe, Markovic.
