It was a bad season for Liverpool last term.
We all know the story by now: Luis Suarez left, Daniel Sturridge got injured, £100million was spent on players who flopped (badly) and Brendan Rodgers' team ended up finishing way off the pace in sixth.
Now even Liverpool parody accounts are becoming the butt of jokes on Twitter.
Popular Brendan Rodgers parody account @DeludedBrendan asked the retail giant if they "had any deals on" and Tesco were very sharp in their response:
The response got almost 6,000 retweets and 4,000 favourites on the social media site.
Liverpool, of course, spent around £50million in bringing former Southampton trio Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren and Rickie Lambert to Anfield last summer - Lallana was a mild success while the other two were heavily criticised for their performances.
Rodgers has moved quickly in the transfer market so far this summer, with James Milner and Danny Ings both due to sign at the club.
