Three interesting things about Theo Walcott 'goal' for Arsenal against Manchester United
Substitute can take credit for equaliser at Old Trafford
Theo Walcott can take the credit for Arsenal collecting a point against Manchester United after making the crucial impact at Old Trafford.
The difficult contract negotiator came off the bench in the 72nd minute and 10 minutes later Arsenal were level.
Here are some interesting facts about the goal...
1. Theo Walcott didn't score it
It was actually a cross from the England international that was deflected in by Tyler Blackett. It will go down as an own goal.
2. Blackett's first goal
Blackett had never scored in the Premier League before. Now he has. Only it was in the wrong net.
3. Victor Valdes concedes
Having waited since January for his chance to impress, just eight minutes into his Manchester United debut, Valdes had conceded. He had replaced the injured David De Gea.
