Things aren't quite clicking for Tottenham Hotspur at the moment, but at least they now come up against a side that is really struggling.

Hull City were denied a valuable three points by former player Fraizer Campbell, who struck late for Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Mike Phelan's men remain stuck in the relegation mire and may need a miracle if they wish to leave White Hart Lane with a point.

It’s a big game for…

Michael Dawson: The former Spurs centre back spent nine years as a player at White Hart Lane and will be eager to silence the home crowd on his return. Hull have conceded 16 goals in their previous five away games and Dawson will need to keep Harry Kane on a tight leash if they are to prevent another rout on the road.

Weird /best stat…

32: After conceding 32 goals this season so far, Hull have the worst record in the Premier League and the second worst in Europe.

Remember when…

Hull City 1 Tottenham 2, Premier League, November 2014

A superb Jake Livermore strike put his old club behind but a second half comeback was completed by Spurs a minute from time when Christian Eriksen rifled into the bottom corner.

Player to watch…

Christian Eriksen: The Denmark international has been in fine form of late and could be the man to get Spurs back to winning ways after Sunday’s 1-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford. Eriksen has scored three in his last four games and two of which came at White Hart Lane in a 5-0 rout over Swansea two weeks ago.

Past three-meetings…

TOTTENHAM 2 (Chadli, Rose) HULL CITY O, May 2015

HULL CITY 1 (Livermore) TOTTENHAM 2 (Kane, Eriksen), November 2014

HULL 1 (Long) TOTTENHAM 1 (Paulinho), February 2014

After Arsenal faltered on Merseyside last night, North London rivals Tottenham can close the gap on their neighbours to four points with a win at home to Hull City. History, it would seem, is on their side.

Congratulations to the fiercest hand-shaker in the Premier League.

Although I'm sure he'd choose to erase any trace of those 30-odd games in charge of QPR.

5 mins: Crystal Palace 0 Manchester United 0: Rooney has his first attempt of the evening as he goes searching for the goal to equal Bobby Charlton's United goalscoring record. The England captain has just headed over Juan Mata's cross.

Meanwhile, Eric Bailly has gone down injured off the ball and looks in some discomfort. Matteo Darmian is warming up on the touchline and ready to replace him if necessary.

I bet this account never tweeted these words when Tony Pulis was in charge.

No Premier League goals at the moment to report, but Newcastle - with their bottom half of the Premier League players on top half of the Premier League wages - are a goal up at Wigan in the Championship. Expect to see them back in the top flight soon.
