Tottenham and Manchester United drew 0-0 in the first of the latest round of festive fixtures this Sunday.

Both sides picked up useful wins on Boxing Day and were keen to keep the momentum going in their game just 48 hours after last, but neither could break the deadlock.

Southampton held Chelsea 1-1 in the 2.05pm kick. The Premier League leaders faced a stern test against the side occupying fourth place in the league at the start of the day.

Manchester City then dropped two points against Burnley having led 2-0 at half-time. An Ashley Barnes stunner made it 2-2 at the Etihad.

QPR hostedNeil Warnock-less Crystal Palace at Loftus Road but neither team could score whilst West Ham failed to take their chances and lost 2-1 to Arsenal.

The late kick-off at 4.15pm sees Newcastle take on Everton at St James' Park.
