Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes has revealed his dream five-a-side team from his United team-mates, and while four of the players are obvious choices, one is the highly rated Andreas Pereira, who has played just 13 minutes of Premier League football this season.
In total, the 19-year-old Belgian midfielder has made two appearances for the club - the other being a 45-minute substitute appearance in the 4-0 League Cup defeat by the then-League One side MK Dons. The Dons have since been promoted to the Championship.
Pereira joined from PSV's youth academy in 2011.
In addition to Pereira and himself in goal, Valdes has picked fellow Spaniards Juan Mata and Ander Herrera, as well as captain Wayne Rooney.
"Ah, I feel a special love for Juan Mata and Ander Herrera," he told United's official website. "And also Andreas Pereira. One more? Wayne Rooney – it is a good team I think!"
Valdes, who joined United on an 18-month deal in January, also spoke of how he is adapting to life in England.
The 33-year-old said: "It’s a friendly group and an easy group for enabling you to adapt when you are here and your English is maybe not so good! So it’s great to be next to Mata and Herrera in the changing room."
