Watford 2-1 Leicester: Andre Gray strikes late to hand Brendan Rodgers defeat in first game in charge
Watford 2-1 Leicester: Jamie Vardy had equalised for the Foxes after Troy Deeney's opener but the Hornets won it in stoppage time
Brendan Rodgers suffered disappointment on his Premier League return as his first game in charge of Leicester ended in a 2-1 defeat at Watford after Andre Gray’s injury-time winner.
Rodgers is back in England’s top flight for the first time since October 2015 when he was sacked at Liverpool following his appointment as Claude Puel’s replacement earlier this week.
And it looked like being a respectable start to his Foxes reign as Jamie Vardy’s 10th goal of the season cancelled out Troy Deeney’s early header.
But the game ended in the same way as it started as Gray struck in the closing moments to inflict an opening defeat on Rodgers and deliver a fourth win from five for the Hornets.
Rodgers will now eye his first win next Saturday with a home game against Fulham.

89 min : Everton 0-0 Liverpool
A minute of normal time to go and Everton are throwing everything they have at the visitors.
Is there a late twist here to decide this one?
90 min: Everton 0-0 Liverpool
Three minutes have been added on here at Goodison.
Full Time: Everton 0-0 Liverpool
Could that be a significant result in the title race?
Well, what it definitely does mean is that Liverpool have won only two of their last six fixtures and have slipped a point behind Manchester City after their win at Bournemouth yesterday.
Jurgen Klopp remains undefeated, having managed the Reds in eight Merseyside derbies, but he will no doubt rue the chances squandered by Mo Salah in each half.
Everton had a couple of half chances but they emerge with a point, which they would feel they deserved at Anfield earlier in the season.
That concludes another thrilling day of Premier League action.
Chelsea and Watford both emerged victorious with 2-1 wins against Fulham and Leicester City respectively, before a goalless Merseyside derby saw proceedings come to an end.
Thank you for joining me, Kishan Vaghela, for all the action, but make sure to check out the website for all the reaction to today's games.
Here is a reminder of all of those results once again:
Watford 2 (Deeney, Gray) Leicester 1 (Vardy)
Fulham 1 (Chambers) Chelsea 2 (Higuain, Jorginho)
Everton 0 Liverpool 0
