It’s a big game for?
David Moyes. After failing at Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland, Moyes has, rather amazingly, been handed a lifeline to get his career back on track and restore a shred of credibility to his reputation. If he’s to turn around West Ham’s fortunes, as well as his own, an impressive win today is essential.

Post-match reaction from Marco Silva
On winning amid speculation linking him with the Everton job: "We know what is our way. We worked in the last week like we have since my first day at the club. We had a fantastic week, the players worked really hard and today we performed really well and we deserved the three points."
On bouncing back from three consecutive defeats: "I think the last three defeats didn't reflect how we played. We didn't deserve those three defeats. We came again today playing the same way. Our players understand our plan really well. We performed really well. My players know my commitment and how my staff work as well."
On what the future holds for him: "My future is tomorrow, preparing for the next game. We already have a session planned tomorrow, this is my future. Some things we can't control. In football, anything can happen."

Post-match reaction from David Moyes
On what he made of his side's performance: "I think most people would have expected a performance like that. I was disappointed. We missed a couple of big chances. The better team won the game but there was a chance to change the outcome of the game and we didn't do that."
On his players' lack of confidence: "I was only every going to find out what the players were like after coaching them and seeing them in the game today. They needed a couple of things to go for them. The big moments we had, when they didn't go for us, I could see the confidence draining away."
