Wojciech Szczesny is not letting Arsenal's signing of Petr Cech get him down. Instead, he has released this Rocky-esque video montage of him training as he gears up for the new season.

It is more than likely that Cech will become the Gunners' No 1 when the season begins, but not without a battle from Szczesny.

The Polish 'stopper, who lost his place in between the sticks for Arsenal last season to David Ospina.

Szczesny posted this video on hs Facebook and Instagram pages today, complete with driving power rock music to complete his montage.

The caption read: "Time to get ready for a huge season coming up!"

The 33-year-old Cech moved to the Gunners from Chelsea for £11m on Monday and says that he will not be thinking about retiring for another seven years.

"I don't want to speak about retirement for another seven years. That’s my target and then I'll see," he said.
