Transfer deadline day summer 2019: The deals done so far

Manchester United are closing in on a £50m deal for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, while Juventus are looking to finally clinch a deal for Matthijs de Ligt. Liverpool have switched targets away from Lille’s Nicolas Pepe and have signed defender Sepp van den Berg.

Benfica are weighing up a huge £113m offer from Atletico Madrid for their highly rated young talent Joao Felix, while Inter are set to try and entice Romelu Lukaku away from United to Serie A.

Liverpool have completed the signing of Dutch teenage centre-back Sepp van den Berg.

The 17-year-old has been hotly pursued by a number of European clubs, but the Reds have won the race for his signature, and have signed the player on a long-term deal which could rise to £4.4m including appearance-based add-ons.

"It’s just an amazing feeling,” Van den Berg told Liverpool’s official website.

"It is, for me, the biggest club in the world and it’s a dream come true. I am really excited."

Could Neymar really re-join Barcelona? One of the rumours circulating this morning says he just might, but it's going to take a few sales first.

Barca could afford to sign Neymar, according to MailSport, if they were to offload Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho, in what would total a £200m deal, but the board are still to be convinced he is worth reclaiming.

Some peculiar rumours emerging from Italy this morning claim that Everton have tabled a €30m bid for Juventus starlet Moise Kean.

The 19-year-old is tipped to become one of Europe's top strikers, leaving many surprised by such rumours. 

Kean is entering the last year of his contract at Juventus, though, and while terms were reportedly agreed, he is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal and may well be part of another negotiating tactic.

AC Milan are preparing a big to sign Lucas Torreira on loan with a view to buy.

Sky report that the offer will be in the region of £4.5m for a two-season long loan with a view to make the deal permanent for £25m.

Torreira, while not being unhappy at Arsenal contrary to popular belief, is keen to reunite with Milan manager Marco Giampaolo, who he starred under at Sampdoria.

William Saliba is finally set to complete his move to Arsenal for £22.8m.

The 18-year-old centre-back will however be loaned back to St Etienne for next season, leaving many Gunners supporters questioning the logic of the deal when Unai Emery is already struggling with a restricted transfer budget.

Barcelona's vice president Jordi Cardoner has dismissed the club's supposed interest in re-signing Neymar.

"As far as I know, Barcelona have not made any steps towards signing him, nor do we want to sign him," he said.

Atletico Madrid are eyeing up a move for James Rodriguez, according to a report on Spanish radio.

James is not in Zinedine Zidane's plans at Real Madrid, having spent the past two seasons at Bayern Munich, who declined the opportunity to take the Colombian on a permanent transfer. 

Cadena SER says James would be open to a move that would allow him to continue his career in La Liga.
