Alexandre Pato to Chelsea: Corinthians striker set for £11m switch in time for debut against Arsenal
Brazilian is set to complete his move to Stamford Bridge in time to face the Gunners this weekend

Chelsea are set to complete an £11m deal for Alexandre Pato by the end of the week in order for the striker to make his debut against Arsenal on Sunday.
The Blues have been in talks with Corinthians for weeks as they look to strengthen their attack, and according to the Evening Standard, some players in the dressing room believe Pato will make the switch this week.
Chelsea have problems up front, with Radamel Falcao sidelined with a thigh injury and first-choice striker Diego Costa suffering a bruised tibia during the 3-3 draw with Everton at the weekend, making him a doubt for the clash with Arsenal.
That potentially leaves Loic Remy as Guus Hiddink’s only fully fit striker.
Hiddink last week appeared to rule out a move for Pato, but may now be forced to change his plans. Pato is known to be eager to return to Europe – preferably the Premier League.
The former AC Milan forward scored 26 goals last season, although he spent much of the campaign on loan at Sao Paulo.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs were all interested in Pato’s signature.
