Arsenal injury news: Francis Coquelin and Tomas Rosicky to return against Burnley in FA Cup tie

The Gunners' midfield is set to receive a timely boost

Arsene Wenger will welcome back Francis Coquelin and Tomas Rosicky from injury for Arsenal's FA Cup fourth-round tie against Burnley this weekend, boosting the Gunners midfield.

The French midfielder Coquelin has been out since November with a knee ligament injury. Rosicky has not played for Arsenal this season, after having knee surgery during the summer.

"Francis is available to play now because he has passed two weeks of full training," Gunners' manager Arsene Wenger told arsenal.com. "Tomas is also available for selection."

Wenger also gave updates on long-term absentees Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla. Welbeck, 25, has been on the sidelines since last April with a knee injury but has recently returned to training.

"Danny is not completely ready but he is not far," Wenger said. "He needs a game or two because he’s been out since last April.

"Jack and Santi are progressing well but they are at least a few weeks away. But these two apart, it is just about competitiveness and match fitness."

Mohamed Elneny, a January addition from FC Basel, is set to make his debut for the team.

The Egyptian joined for a reported £7.4m earlier this month, and has been an unused substitute.
