Arsenal have until noon on Friday to register Mohamed Elneny, if they want him to be available to face Stoke City on Sunday.

Premier League rules state that a player must be registered by noon on the last working day - that's 12pm Friday.

Elneny's move has been on the cards for almost two weeks but he has been held up by paper work.

We're skeptical when an Italian newspaper links a player in France to an English club - even if Edinson Cavani spent time in Serie A.

Gazetta dello Sport report that Paris Saint-Germain have given Arsenal the 'green light' to make a bid for the 28-year-old Uruguayan.

Arsenal have long been linked with the striker, who would likely cost a fortune.

Staying in Italy and the agent of both Marcelo Brozovic and Mauro Icardi has linked the pair to Arsenal.

(We're 100 per cent certain that this is real and not just an agent picking a European giant in an attempt to get his clients better terms...)

Vincenzo Morabito was speaking to Corriere dello Sport. Croatian midfielder Brozovic, 23, is currently on loan at Internazionale who have the first option to buy him, should they wish, at the end of the season.

Icardi has long been linked with a move to north London, though Arsene Wenger has never really seemed interested in the mecurial striker.

Celta Vigo forward Nolito was linked with the Gunners earlier this week, but he is thought to prefer a return to Barcelona, according to Diario Sport.

The 29-year-old has been brilliant this season, with eight goals and five assists. He spent three years at Barcelona from 2008-2011 but only made five appearances for the first team, appearing more regularly for the B team.

He is expected to cost around £12m.
