Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy has admitted that he may be forced to leave the club in January with Euro 2016 on the horizon.
The Frenchman has lost his place this season to Hector Bellerin, 20.
Debuchy, 30, did play in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham on Sunday because the youngster Bellerin is sidelined with a hamstring injury.
"It's certain that being on the bench every weekend is not easy for me to handle. It's the first time for me in my career," Deuchy said.
"I am putting up with it and trying to stay mentally strong, but it's true that sometimes it's more difficult than at other times, when in your mind things are complicated.
"It's a case of staying focused until December and then we'll see what happens after that."
Euro 2016 will be held in Debuchy's native France. He has won 27 international caps.
Debuchy joined Arsenal from Newcastle for a reported £12m back in August 2014.
