It's a busy day of gossip at highbury especially in the full-back department.

Before we get to all those defenders Spanish newspaper Marca claims that Arsenal will rival Real Madrid for talented 20-year-old forward Leroy Sane.

The Schalke man has previously been linked with Manchester City and will cost around £30m.

Aaron Ramsey has again been linked with Barcelona, with the Daily Express claiming they watched the midfielder during Arsenal's 3-3 draw with Liverpool at Anfield.

The Welshman has been linkd with a move to the Nou Camp in the past with some enquiries - firmly rejected - said to have taken place last summer; Barca may even be willing to spend £60m on the Welshman.

Bayer Leverkusen have made a bid to sign out-of-favour Mathieu Debuchy, who has hardly featued since the emergence of Hector Belllerin.

Frenchman Debuchy had been linked with the 30-year-old, but Bayer can offer Champions League football and Villa aren't willing to pay his £1m loan fee.

Another full-back on the move could be Kieran Gibbs. Like Debuchy, Gibbs was once a regular starter for Arsenal but the emergence of Nacho Monreal has seen him fall way down the pecking order, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Gibbs, who has started just two Premier League games, could ask to leave in the summer.

All those full-backs leaving is because Arsenal are said to be making a second bid for Ben Chilwell.

The Gunners made a £3.5m bid for the highly-rated 19-year-old in the summer, but the Foxes are likely to insist on a much bigger fee. All the usual suspects are also interested and Arsenal want to move soon before he is snapped up by a rival.

More full back news comes from The Sun and this time Arsenal are looking to Spain ffor their successor to Nacho Monreal.

Real Madrid reserve Nacho, 26, is said to be unhappy at his lack of playing time behind Marcelo - a defender who was named in the Uefa team of the year.

The best of news for Arsenal fans comes from The Sun, who report that Arsene Wenger is going to sign a new two-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2019.
