Chelsea are reportedly lining up Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez as they look to launch a second raid on the King Power Stadium. Having already brought in former Foxes midfielder N’Golo Kante, the Blues could be poised to move in on last year’s PFA Player of the Season. According to the Daily Express, the Algeria international has turned down a £100,000-a-week deal from Leicester which has opened the door to the west London club.

Antonio Conte has ended the speculation surrounding Juan Cuadrado’s future at Chelsea after insisting that the player will be staying put at Stamford Bridge. The Colombia international spent last season on loan at Serie A champions Juventus but Conte has shot down any rumours of a permanent move by revealing that the 28-year-old is a “Chelsea player” for the foreseeable future.

Juventus are ready to launch a bid for Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic should Paul Pogba join Manchester United this summer. After struggling to find his top form last season, and with the recent arrival of N’Golo Kante at Stamford Bridge, Matic’s future at Chelsea is in serious doubt. The Sun has claimed that Serie A giants Juve are keen on the 27-year-old and will launch a bid for him if Pogba leaves.

Blues target Joao Mario has reportedly decided to join Inter Milan, snubbing a transfer to Stamford Bridge in the process. The midfielder had been linked to the Blues in the wake of Portugal’s Euro 2016 victory in France but the Sun has reported that the 23-year-old has now penned a five-year deal at the San Siro.

Having been rebuffed in their bid for Leonardo Bonucci, Chelsea are now considering a move for Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi, according to the Daily Mirror. The Blues have already been in talks for the Spanish side’s Andrew Gomes and will hope to build upon that dialogue as they turn their attention to the German international.
