Chelsea starlet Jeremie Boga has admitted he would be interested in a return to France if he’s unable to make the grade at Stamford Bridge.

The 18-year-old midfielder starred in the Blues' FA Youth Cup Final victory last week against Manchester City, starting the second leg clash at Stamford Bridge.

Capped by France at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 level, the young No 10 hopes to eventually break into the Chelsea first team under Jose Mourinho, and follow in the footsteps of fellow youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Boga first appeared for the Blues at Under-12 level, and made his Under-21 debut while still playing for the club's Under-15's.

Reports in the French press have linked Marseille with a swoop for the Blues youngster, and Boga admits that he would be tempted by a move to Ligue 1 if he’s unable to break into the first team setup at Stamford Bridge.

“My first choice would be to stay in England. After that we’ll see,” he told Foot Mercato.

“If there are good options in L1 that match my profile, I would definitely consider. Marseille? Why not? This is a club close to my heart.”
