Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Manchester United: Dortmund midfielder's agent says it would be a 'sin' to stop talking
The 27-year-old is believed to be keen on leaving Dortmund for England this summer

Manchester United have been handed a further boost in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan after his agent said it would be “a sin” to abandon attempts to secure his client a move to Old Trafford.
The 27-year-old is believed to be keen on leaving Dortmund for England this summer with Arsenal and Liverpool also rumoured to be interested in securing his services.
The Bundesliga giants are reluctant to sell Mkhitaryan, however, following the high-profile departures of Mats Hummels and Ilkay Gundongan to Bayern Munich and Manchester City respectively.
“It would be a sin to stop talking,” said Mino Raiola, the player’s agent. “I am a positive guy. If I wasn't confident of reaching some kind of conclusion, I wouldn't try.”
Armenian international Mkhitaryan has just one-year to run on his contract at the Westfalenstadion and is said to be keen on linking up with Jose Mourinho in the North West.
Raiola added: “I am very proud Manchester United want him and the talks are being held in a good atmosphere, but at the moment Dortmund are still saying no.”
Raiola also happens to represent Zlatan Ibrahimovic, another of United’s primary targets this summer, but he was less welcoming towards questions about the Swede’s immediate future.
“Manchester United is a great club, with a great coach,” said Raiola. “But Zlatan has not yet made his choice.”
