Leicester transfer news: Foxes launch £7m bid for Stoke's Steven N'Zonzi and agree deal to sign Robert Huth permanently
Huth spent the second half of last season on loan with Leicester while his Stoke team-mate was the Potter's player of the year

Leicester have agreed a £3m fee to sign Stoke defender Robert Huth on a permanent deal following his loan–spell last season, and have launched a £7m bid for the Potters' player of the season Steven N’Zonzi in the process.
The Telegraph reports that Nigel Pearson has moved to secure German centre-back Huth after his impressive performances for the Foxes since joining on loan in February, and has agreed a deal with their Premier League rivals that could potentially rise to £4m based on his appearances.
But the move for N’Zonzi, who is also wanted by Spanish side Seville, comes as a surprise, and it remains to be seen whether Leicester are able to persuade the French midfielder to join a club that barely survived relegation as opposed to the Potters, who finished the 2014/15 season in the top half of the table.
N’Zonzi has a year left to run on his current contract and Stoke could choose to cash in on him should they receive a suitable offer.
However, Seville saw their £3m offer immediately rejected, and Stoke countered the transfer bid with a swap deal for £20m-rated Grzegorz Krychowiak, having labelled the Spanish club’s offer as “insulting”.

With that in mind Leicester have upped the bidding to £7m, but Stoke are reported to value N’Zonzi at a lot more and it is uncertain whether the club would be willing to negotiate a move, or whether they will simply reject it.
