Jurgen Klopp secured glory this season to finally land silverware in charge at Anfield.

But Liverpool will not stop after winning the Champions League, with an agonising defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League title race likely to fuel them for next term.

The Reds will look to strengthen once more, having set aside hefty fees for key players in recent years to put in place the pieces necessary to conquer Europe.

This summer then it seems like Klopp wants more star power, namely Nicolas Pepe, who emerged on Liverpool’s radar earlier this year.

The Lille star remains high on the Reds’ list of priorities, claim Le 10 Sport, with Manchester United and PSG also keen.

Lille want £70m to sell their star man, with another rumoured target to cost even more.

Marco Asensio has previously been linked with a move to Anfield, but the price may dissuade the Reds from following up that interest this summer.

AS believe Real Madrid want £80-88m for the Spain international.

Meanwhile Dejan Lovren’s time at Anfield could be up, with the inconsistent Croatian likely to be shown the door if the money is right, having slipped out of the starting line-up.

AC Milan could make a move, with Marco Giampaolo, who is set to move from Sampdoria, eyeing up reinforcements at the back.

Roma’s Kostas Manolas is one target, but should they fail there, then Lovren could emerge as an option, according to Sky Sport Italia.
