Frustrated Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski says he will speak to manager Arsene Wenger in the next few days to see if he will leave the club in January, with Serie A club Inter Milan reportedly interested.

The German forward has not started a Premier League match for the Gunners this season.

"I am not 20 or 21 years old and satisfied to wait for a chance," he told Super Express. "I am 29. I want to play, play, play!

"What can I do that I'm not already doing? I played in the starting XI in the Champions League and scored two goals, but then I was back on the bench [for the 4-1 win over Newcastle]. I don't know what more I can do to convince the coach."

"In the next few days, I'm going to talk to him. I want to know what the club is planning for me."

Last month, the forward said about his current situation with the Gunners: "Of course I am not happy with my situation right now. It is hard when you can't do what you love."
