Wesley Sneijder's Internazionale career is in his own hands after Andrea Stramaccioni, the head coach, said the outcast midfielder could have a future at the Serie A club.

The Netherlands international , 28, has not featured for the Nerazzurri since September and a contract dispute has seen him linked with Milan, Paris St-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur.

Stramaccioni maintains that Sneijder's absence from the first team is tactical.

He said: "As far as Sneijder is concerned, he knows that when a player gives their all, I give them mine in return.

"If I was a player, I'd try to think about what my manager was thinking. I'm sure that Wesley can make me change my mind."

Sneijder, who won the treble under Jose Mourinho in 2010, has two and a half years left on his contract but is unhappy at Inter's request that he take a pay cut.
