Inter Milan have made a third bid for Montenegrin striker Stevan Jovetic, according to reports.

Manchester City have twice rejected offers for the 24-year-old, but that has not stopped the Italians making a third approach, according to the Daily Mail.

After moving to the Etihad in a £22m deal last summer Jovetic struggled to break into the first team because of the excellent form of Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo and Edin Dzeko.

He only managed five Premier League starts last term, but did score six goals in 16 matches in all competitions.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini is an admirer of the striker, but he is likely to remain fourth choice next season.
