The story: Aside from booking a taxi to Loftus Road, Odemwingie could not be doing any more to generate a move to QPR. Redknapp wants him, he wants to move. West Brom appear to be fighting a losing battle to keep the striker.

Player: Gary Hooper

Club: Celtic

Chance of moving: Three stars

Player: Jack Butland

Club: Birmingham

Time left on deal: Two-and-a-half years

The story: Birmingham are in serious financial trouble and have to sell some star assets to ease the burden. Butland is their brightest talent and Chelsea are poised to swoop.
