Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been identified by Jose Mourinho as the perfect striker to revive the Manchester United's fortunes, according to reports.

Mourinho is expected to replace current Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal this summer and has reportedly already started planning what he will do if he takes charge.

According to Le Sport 10, Mourinho believes Ibrahimovic can revive the club's fortunes. They claim that the PSG striker is so certain he'll be heading to Manchester this summer that he has already begun planning for life in the Premier League.

The Sweden international has always resisted overtures from England in the past. However, the 34-year-old recently hinted that a move to the Premier League is possible.

"I have another three months here and, then, what will happen? Big things will happen," he said after his PSG side beat Chelsea 2-1 in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 encounter.

Ibrahimovic and Mourinho worked together at Inter Milan during the 2008/09 season in which they won the Italian league title.

Ibrahimovic will be out of contract at the end of the current campaign.
