Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Manchester City LIVE: Premier League result, final score and reaction
Wolves 0-3 Manchester City: Jack Grealish answered his critics with a goal after just 55 seconds before Nathan Collins received a straight red card for a reckless challenge on the England international
Jack Grealish scored inside the opening minute and produced a much improved performance as Manchester City thrashed 10-man Wolves at Molineux.
After being backed by his manager Pep Guardiola, Grealish answered his critics as he finished Kevin de Bruyne’s fine cross to give City the lead after just 55 seconds with his first goal of the season.
Erling Haaland added a second for City to score in a seventh straight game in a row, this time drilling a shot from outside of the box into the bottom corner.
It went from bad to worse for Wolves when Nathan Collins was shown a straight red card for a recklessly high challenge on Grealish.
Although Bruno Lage’s side responded well, Phil Foden made it three in the second half as De Bruyne got another assist. The result moves City top, ahead of Arsenal who visit Brentford tomorrow.
