Argentina vs France World Cup 2018 round of 16: When is it, where is it, team news, schedule, draw
Group C winners France face Group D runners-up Argentina

Argentina edged through as Group D's runners up courtesy of Marcos Rojo's late goal in their dramatic 2-1 victory against Nigeria. The 86th minute strike meant that Argentina jumped ahead of Nigeria in the table and qualified as runners up, behind Croatia.
In contrast, France's final group match was a far less exciting affair. Both Les Bleus and Denmark had qualified from Group C with a game to spare and played out an uneventful 0-0 draw.
France have never beaten Argentina in five attempts, and Argentina won 2-1 against France in the 1978 World Cup group stage in their last competitive meeting.
When is France vs Argentina?
The first round of 16 game is on Saturday 30 June and kicks off at 15:00 at the Kazan Arena.
Where can I watch it?
The round of 16 matches are yet to be divided between ITV and BBC, but one of the broadcasters will be showing full live coverage.
Argentina coach Jorge Sampaoli's was on the brink of losing his job and faced allegations infighting within the squad, but has earned himself the chance to guide Argentina to a first World Cup win since 1986.
It is widely thought that this is Lionel Messi's last shot at World Cup glory. He missed a penalty against Iceland and was marked out of the game by Croatia but made his mark on Russia with a sublime goal to open the scoring against Nigeria.
France have been efficient but underwhelming in their campaign so far, and were booed off following their dismal display against Denmark, but have the individual quality to cause Argentina's fragile defence plenty of problems.
