Brazil World Cup profile

Both Brazil and Serbia are in contention for a place in the round of 16. Group E is one of the most open groups in the World Cup with Costa Rica being the only team that cannot qualify for the knockout stage.

Brazil have not had the opening to the World Cup that was expected of them. Their recent clash with Costa Rica was saved due to two very late goals scored in injury time.

Brazil forward Neymar has come under fire recently after his performances in the Russia so far. He has struggled the team’s previous matches against Switzerland and Costa Rica.

Serbia recently lost to Switzerland 2-1 after conceding a goal in the 90th minute of their match on Friday. Although it will be an uphill battle Serbia are still in the running for a place in the round of 16.

Prediction

Although Brazil haven’t had the start to the tournament that was expected of them it’s reasonable to assume that they will be able to beat Serbia and secure their place in the round of 16.

Good morning and welcome to our live coverage of the climax of Group E.

Brazil can secure their place in the last-16 later today but don't sleep on Serbia who also have their eyes on the knockout phase.

Switzerland have one foot there already but Costa Rica could cause them more than a few problems as well.

We will have all the latest build-up from Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod right here so don't touch that dial.

AS it stands in Group E, Costa Rica are out but Serbia, Brazil and Switzerland could all progress.

A win for either Serbia will be enough for them to go through, but Brazil need to avoid a loss if they want to qualify.

Switzerland will qualify with a win over Costa Rica but would have to rely on other results if they lose or draw.

We could be in for another cracking evening of World Cup football here!

KICK OFF: SERBIA 0 - 0 BRAZIL

Brazil start the match, they work the ball around the back, but Serbia take control of the ball, Matic loses it and Brazil get the break, Neymar charges forward, beats one defender, beats a second, he lays it off to Coutinho whose shot hits Jesus in an offside position

3 mins: SERBIA 0 - 0 BRAZIL

Brazil break again, and Jesus gets the ball on a one on one with Stojkovic but he's way offside

5 mins: SWITZERLAND  0 - 0 COSTA RICA

Brilliant save from Sommer, the ball comes into the Swiss area from the left and Borges gets to the ball first, his header is angled down to the right of Sommer, but the goalkeeper leaps to his right and saves it one-handed
