Ah, at least this man was here to see it.

I wonder what obscene gesture he displayed as that penalty was rolled in?

You know what, I don't want to know.

We're 30 minutes in here and France have taken control of this game after Argentina's bright start but they really don't look like offering too much at the moment.

Will Griezmann's goal be the decisive moment in this game?

Argentina can still call on Dybala, Aguero and co.

Will Sampaoli (if he is in charge) turn to those guys to make a difference?

OH. MY. WORD.

Angel Di Maria has just unleashed an unstoppable drive from the edge of the box which has beaten Hugo Lloris and may well take us in all square at the break!

What a strike.

Meanwhile, another HUGE boost for Argentina.

Javier Mascherano is booked which means that if they do find a way past France, he'll miss the next game.

Relief.

We're back underway here in Kazan with the game tied.

What do you think the final outcome will be? It's finely poised at the moment.

1-2 ARGENTINA! A Lionel Messi strike was deflected on goal by Mercado who's crucial touch took it away from Lloris.

Wow.

Long time to go.
