Ayr Scottish Eagles stay top of the Superleague after their 5-1 victory over London Knights at the Centrum Arena.

The Eagles, who are unbeaten since the opening day of the season, went into a 3-0 lead on Sunday night thanks to goals from Ryan Risidore, Dino Bauba and Dody Wood (powerplay). Maurizio Mansi replied for London, who have failed to win on their last four visits to Scotland, but Wood and Ed Courtenay wrapped up the hosts' victory.

Nottingham Panthers ended their MEN Arena hoodoo with a 1-0 victory over Manchester Storm. The Panthers had lost 11 of their previous 12 visits, and last won there in January 1998. Darren Maloney scored the only goal of the game in the final period to keep Manchester waiting for their first win.
