His name may sound like a phrase used from the great US political scandal of the 1990s, but Green Bay Packers could have the last laugh with their pick in the NFL Draft, the bizarrely named Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. And yes, that is (kind of) his real name.

The Packers used the 21st overall pick on Alabama safety Clinton-Dix, who grabbed the headlines in America last night, not just for his name, but for his Lionel Messi-meets-Ron Burgundy velvet red blazer.

Clinton-Dix, who has been touted as the man to solve the Packers safety woes, told afterwards how his funny name came about. He was given the name of Ha'Sean at birth, but has been known as Ha Ha from the age of three.

"Actually, my grandmother gave me that name when I was three or four years old," he said.

"She got tired of pronouncing my full name, which is Ha-Seen, but it’s spelled Ha-Sean. So about age 3 or 4, she started calling me Ha Ha, and it just went from there."
