Bradford Bulls chief aims to avoid fire sale

The Bradford chief executive, Ryan Duckett, said yesterday the Bulls would not be forced into selling players. The Super League club need to raise £1m, half of it by next Friday, to avoid going into administration.

"If people get behind this pledge campaign, there is no need for us to do that," said Duckett, referring to an appeal for £100 donations from fans.
