Crusaders ready to unveil Thomas
Gareth Thomas is set for his rugby league debut tomorrow night after being named in Crusaders' 19-man squad to play the Catalan Dragons.
It is debatable whether the former Wales rugby union captain will start the game. However, he has impressed his new team-mates in his first two weeks of training with them. "He's been slowly learning the game, but he's got some skills and his footwork is amazing," said the Crusaders' captain, Ryan O'Hara.
The six Huddersfield players arrested after rape allegations in January have had their bail extended until 16 April. Newcastle police are continuing their inquiries.
