England have lost the Rugby League World Cup final after suffering a heartbreaking 6-0 defeat to Australia at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, with the Kangaroos claiming their 11th final victory. Re-live the action here.

10 mins: Gale is pinged for a high tackle, which Australia don't take too kindly to. A small flare-up sees a number of players collide, but there's no punches thrown and they'll just get a telling off. Widdop asks the referee what the difference was between the high tackle on him and that one but gets little reply. Australia kick for touch.
11 mins: Smith puts a high chip towards the corner, and Watkins misses hos catch attempt that bounces off his head and falls loose to the floor. McGillvary tries to hack it clear, and misses, and Widdop has to drop on it to concede the goal-line drop-out. From there, England give away a penalty for an illegal strip and Australia tap and go.
13 mins: Smith puts a huge high bomb up - just as he's nailed by Graham - and Hall does brilliantly to catch it. he's furious when it's given as a goal-line drop-out, but it's the correct call as he was in the field of play when he jumped.
15 mins: The pressure finally tells as Cronk finds Boyd Cordner on a short ball, and the big lock barrels over the line to score the opening try of the match. Smith adds the conversion and Australia lead 6-0.
18 mins: Australia attack right on the last and Slater puts in a deft chip as he runs towards the line. Hall does brilliantly to collect it and make 15m before being tackled, and good runs from McGillvary and Hill see them burst into Australian territory. They kick to the corner, and in defence they force a knock-on and win the scrum put-in in Australian territory. A big chance here.
20 mins: Hill produces another big run and wins a penalty on the Australian line, and England turn down the kick to go for the try. They go wide to Hall, but he;s heading towards touch and his rash offload finds Bateman, only to fall into touch. A chance wasted by England.
22 mins: Australia send the ball back downfield, and England finally win a penalty for Australia messing around at the tackle as Gillett holds on too long. England attack with a fresh set in the Australian half.
23 mins: England attack right, and there's space out wide for McGillvary to run in to. The pass is delayed to him though and that closes down the space for the powerful winger, and by the time he receives it he's got two men on him. He does well to break the first tackle, but his attempted offload is knocked forwards and it's another chance wasted for England.
30 mins: Both teams are starting to show the effects of the pace of the game, which is end-to-end at the moment. Gale kicks clear and it's noticeable how many Australians are walking back looking out on their feet.
