Scottish Open set for Castle Stuart
This year's Scottish Open will be played at Castle Stuart near Inverness in July. Loch Lomond has hosted the event for the last 15 years, but it will be moved to the new venue this summer.
European Tour chief George O'Grady said: "It is exciting to break new ground and everyone is delighted to be staging one of our most prestigious events at an acclaimed new venue."
The prize fund remains £3m, with £500,000 for the winner. Italian Edoardo Molinari defends his title against a field including Masters champion Phil Mickelson, US Open holder Graeme McDowell and triple major winner Padraig Harrington.
