Patrick Mahomes is sport’s first half a billion dollar player. Take a moment to process that, the number really is that big.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl-winning quarterback on Monday put pen to paper on a 10-year agreement that could see him net $503million over the lifetime of the contract.
The deal sees Mahomes vault beyond baseball’s Mike Trout and Bryce Harper and boxing’s Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez into the rarefied air reserved only for sport’s true greats.
