DEAN McKEOWN collected an unpleasant leaving present from the Jockey Club yesterday when he was fined pounds 500 and banned from riding for two days.

The jockey, who leaves Britain tomorrow to relaunch his career in Hong Kong, was penalised for his third whip offence since new guidelines restricting the use of the whip were introduced last month.
