Worcester announce signing of Harlequins hooker Chris Brooker

The 26-year-old is a former England Saxons player

Worcester have announced the signing of former England Saxons hooker Chris Brooker from Harlequins.

The 26-year-old will link up with his new colleagues when pre-season training begins next month.

"We are very pleased to be able to sign a player of the experience and calibre of Chris," Worcester rugby director Dean Ryan said.

"Chris comes to Warriors eager to relaunch his career, now he is fully recovered after being sidelined with a knee injury, and his appetite and desire will be evident to all.

"He is determined to be a success at Sixways. and he wants to perform not only for Worcester but also return to the form that brought him to the attention of England and push his internationals aspirations."
