Six Nations LIVE: England beat Wales 12-3 thanks to two Jonny May tries to keep Grand Slam hopes alive
Follow the latest from the Six Nations encounter at Twickenham
England and Wales collide at Twickenham on the second weekend of the Six Nations with both teams unbeaten and looking to challenge not only for the championship but also the Grand Slam.
The hosts return to Twickenham off the back of a resounding 46-15 victory over Italy in Rome, a bonus-point result that has put them top of the Six Nations table. But hot on their heels is Wales, who thrashed Scotland 34-7 in Cardiff and only trail England on points difference.
With Warren Gatland and Eddie Jones engaging in their usual verbal barbs this week – Gatland claiming that Wales have been and will be fitter than England before Jones questioned Rhys Patchell’s “bottle” and hit out at Alun Wyn Jones – the tension ahead of the game has built towards fever pitch, and the atmosphere inside the stadium is certain to rise as a result.
Wales haven’t beaten England since 2015, but that victory was the famous Rugby World Cup success over England that paved the way to their embarrassing elimination from their own tournament. However, they've suffered the loss of Leigh Halfpenny to a foot injury just an hour before kick-off, so Gareth Anscombe starts at full-back with Owen Watkin on the bench.

England arrive at Twickenham ahead of their Six Nations encounter with Wales
All over in Ireland!
The home side runs out 56-19 winners to go top of the Six Nations table. It's the first bonus point for Joe Scmidt's side, but leaves them nicely teed up heading towards round three.
Right, we're all set-up pitchside at Twickenham, and it's still hammering it down from above. The weather is almost certain to have an impact on the game, and it's been raining now for about six hours and is showing no signs of stopping.
Prepare for a slow, error-strewn game that will come down to one or two key scores. It should be a close one!
Both teams are going through their final team run-throughs, and it's noticeable how much tighter they're keeping things. That could play into the hands of the Welsh outside backs, as the likes of Hadleigh Parkes and Scott Williams will relish running at George Ford, Owen Farrell and Jonathan Joseph. England's defence will need reinforcing, and that depends on the likes of Courtney Lawes, Maro Itoje and Sam Simmonds getting out in the line.
Fail to do so, and that could be a key factor that hands Wales the advantage.
Any predictions out there? Injured England scrum-half Ben Youngs is certainly confident...
Both teams are back in the changing rooms for their final preparations as the atmosphere ramps up inside the stadium with a rendition of The World in Union. Just 10 minutes until kick-off!
Both anthems are belted out inside Twickenham, and as the players shed their warm-up tracksuits, the pitch is cleared and we're moments away from kick-off...
