Both Wales and Scotland are looking to keep their Six Nations hopes alive with a win as they return to Cardiff, the scene of Scotland's largest Six Nations final defeat ever.

It’s a big game for…

Finn Russell. During last week’s match against England, Russell was seen smiling following a wonderful intercept of Ben Youngs’ pass. However, Russell failed to notice Stuart Hogg running on his left into an empty half of the field. He kicked ahead instead and into touch, losing the momentum. He will need a big game to gain the confidence back into the squad.

Remember when…

Hogg saw red? In 2014, Wales hosted the Scots and after taking a 10-3 lead, Dan Biggar returned a kick from Hogg, only to receive a dangerous challenge by Hogg which led Jerome Garces to issue a yellow card. Upon review of the footage, however, the referee upgraded his decision to a red card. Scotland went on to suffer their biggest defeat at the hands of the Welsh.

Best stat…

120: This is the number of matches these two sides have played against each other in 132 years. Only one of these matches has ever been played outside of the two nations, in March of 1998 when the two sides played at Wembley.

Up and coming...

Ross Moriarty. The Gloucester flanker started his international career as an England Under 20’s player, but made the switch to Wales prior to the World Cup. He debuted against Ireland in August and replaced Eli Walker in the World Cup squad following an injury to Walker. Moriarty has experienced a Six Nations previously, but as an Under 20 and in the white of England, starting two games in the 2013 edition but banned after a red card against Ireland. His big achievement is scoring a hat-trick against the USA in a pool match in the Junior World Championship.
