NEW ZEALAND scored a convincing 43-25 victory over Natal in the opening match of their historic tour of South Africa on Saturday. The teams were level 22-22 before winger John Kirwan and scrum-half Ant Strachan went through for two tries in three minutes in the last quarter. Kirwan, again, and Richard Loe were their other try-scorers, with Natal's only four-point score coming from a penalty-try. The All Blacks meet South Africa in a Test on 15 August.
