Andy Murray begins his Miami Open campaign against Dusan Lajovic as the opening round begins on Wednesday.

Murray was defeated by fellow Briton Jack Draper in the third round of Indian Wells earlier this month, with the 35-year-old building an encouraging 6-2 record since the Australian Open.

Murray is a two-time winner in Miami but the draw means he could face world no 1 and Indian Wells champion Carlos Alcaraz in the third round.

Before then, Murray will have to negotiate a first round match against the world No 76 Lajovic, with American Maxime Cressy waiting in the second. Here’s everything you need to know.

What time is Andy Murray vs Dusan Lajovic?

The Miami Open first round contest between Murray and Lajovic is scheduled as the third match on Hard Rock Stadium, and is therefore expected to begin at around 7:30pm BST on Wednesday 21 March. It could be slightly earlier or later, however.

Emma Raducanu will play Bianca Andreescu in the first match of the day on Hard Rock Stadium at 4pm BST.

How can I watch the Miami Open?

The tournament is being shown in the UK on Amazon Prime Video.
