The 35-year-old has not been beyond the third round at the prestigious Indian Wells tournament since 2015.

Andy Murray vs Tomas Etcheverry will be held on Thursday 9 March at Indian Wells in California. Murray is set to be third on Stadium 1 Court, straight after fellow Brit Emma Raducanu plays Danka Kovinic, and is scheduled to start around 9.30pm GMT.

Viewers in the United Kingdom can watch the action from Indian Wells on Amazon Prime Video, with extensive coverage throughout the tournament, which runs from 8 March until the men’s and women’s final on 19 March.
