Laura Robson moved into the quarter-finals of the Australian Open girls' championship with a 6-3 6-3 win over Cristina Dinu today.

The British teenager never looked in trouble against her Romanian opponent as she claimed victory in 67 minutes.

Robson converted four of her seven break point opportunities and dropped her own serve once on the way to victory.

Winning 78% of points on her first serve was key to Robson's success in comparison to her opponents 63%.

The Briton, who saved three break points, also won 41% of points on her second serve, while Dinu could only manage 28%.

Robson will play the winner of the match between Russian Ksenia Kirillova and Ester Goldfeld of America in last eight.
