Andy Murray has completed victory over Nicolas Mahut 6-3 7-6 (7-4) at Queens after their match was delayed by rain yesterday.

Due to the heavy schedule, the British number one will have to play Australia's Marinko Matosevic this afternoon.

Murray was leading 6-3, 2-2 when play was called off last night and will be pleased the match was not forced into a third set.

The 26-year-old was already facing the prospect of playing five matches in five days if he reaches Sunday's final but the weather ensured the schedule became even tougher as he prepares for Wimbledon.
