*Andy Murray 3-2 John Millman

The Briton pulls two points ahead before firing one of his forehands straight into the net. He works his opponent hard from corner to corner and Millman eventually draws Murray to the net with a clever drop shot. Murray attempts to return the favour but he completely mishits it to let the Aussie back into the game. Millman looks poised to take the set after Murray sends his shot long of the baseline but he eventually pulls it back to deuce. He hands his opponent the advantage though after trying another ambitious loop shot but failing this time. The two engage in an impressive rally but it's Millman who comes out on top after Murray yet again finds the net. Millman breaks Murray's serve.

Andy Murray 4-2 John Millman*

Millman struggles with his first serve continue. His second attempt is easily dealt with by Murray and he rather luckily wins the first point after one of his shots clips the top of the net only to drop disappointingly out of reach. Murray puts down the throttle to claim three unforced errors and break his opponent.

*Andy Murray 5-2 John Millman

Murray takes the first point after Millman fires his into the net but Millman makes the Briton work for it after sending him to one corner before sending the ball down the opposite tram-line to draw even. The Scot takes it to 40-15 and after another impressive rally, Murray ends up on top with a lovely forehand stroke into the far left corner. Virtually Millman shot was landing in Murray's sweet spot at waist height allowing the Scot to knock him around easy as you like.

Andy Murray 5-3 John Millman*

Murray takes the first point and opts to challenge for the second after over hitting one of his base shots. Hawkeye confirms that it was a good centrimetre or two beyond the line and Millman draws even (two challenges remain for Murray). The pair move to 30-30 before a Murray fault hands his opponent the lead. Murray's power is too much though and a vicious backhand lands at Millman's feet. He struggles to adjust himself and sends the ball wide to the right. At deuce, another strong back hand gives him the advantage but he sends it into the net and the two draw even again. Having already over hit one his base shots this game, he makes the same mistake again before Millman secures the game with a strong forehand.

*Andy Murray 6-3 1-2 John Millman

Murray's first serve is unreturnable as Millman's effort slices wide. He has better luck the second time round as he blasts Murray's second-serve straight down the line and out of reach. Yet another Murray error hands the Australian the lead at 30-15 but the Scot claws his way back with a gorgeous backhand volley at the net. Millman struggles with another of Murray's serves, making it 40-30, but he soon springs back into life to make it 40-40. Murray makes it advantage with a solid forehand down the right line but Millman catches his opponent off guard with a perfect back hand that lands on the line. Murray scrambles to return, which he does, but Millman smashes the ball into the space which had subsequently opened up.

*Andy Murray 6-3 3-3 John Millman

Murray sends his serve across Millman and rushes to the net to volley his return down the line for the point. Two back-to-back faults from the Aussie hands him the second and third point as Murray settles himself. He lands an ace to bring the game to a close in impressive time. Murray takes the game.

Andy Murray 6-3 3-3 John Millman*

Murray proves his true class as Millman rushes to the net to meet one of his drop-shots before the Scotsman sends the return over his head with one of his trademark loops. The Aussie can only watch and stand as the ball lands in behind him for the point. After correctly challenging a decision made against him, Murray then struggles to return a Millman serve to take it to 15-15. Some fantastic net coverage sees him pull ahead as he sends the ball down the line with a weighted volley shot but Millman fights back to take it to 30-30 with a bullet of a forehand.

Andy Murray 6-3 4-3 John Millman*

It's been a physically demanding game so far as Murray returns Millman's serve to perfection to give him one break point. After a quick rally he gets it with a beautiful back hand down the line. Murray breaks his opponent.
