*Gauff 6-3 3-2Â Rybarikova (40-40)
Rybarikova has managed 30-30 a couple of times, but never a break point...
But at 40-30, the Slovak gives the American the run around, and finishes the point off at the net.Â
Gauff 6-3 4-2Â Rybarikova*
Gauff passes that test, with two accurate first serves resulting in two points. And she's now two pgames away from winning this round two match, in match number two of her Wimbledon main draw career.Â
Allright I'll stop.Â
Gauff 6-3 4-2Â Rybarikova* (30-30)
A scare for Gauff. At 15-30, she is wrong-footed and slips on the grass.Â
She puts the thumbs up though, and she looks to be fine.Â
*Gauff 6-3 4-3 Rybarikova
Another defiant hold by Rybarikova, who was in control of those two points by using a combination of slices and drop shots.Â
Still, Gauff very much in control, up a break.Â
Gauff 6-3 5-3 Rybarikova*
Gauff holds TO LOVE! That was simple and quick.Â
She's a game away from the third round, and a match against Slovenian Polona Hercog, who beat 17th seed Madison Keys in the past hour.Â
Gauff 6-3 5-3 Rybarikova* (40-15)
From 40-15 to deuce, as Rybarikova goes long...
2 points away...
Gauff 6-3 5-3 Rybarikova* (Ad Gauff)
After wasting another game point, Rybarikova double faults and it's MATCH POINT...
GAME, SET, MATCH CORI GAUFF! Gauff def. Rybarikova 6-3 6-3Â
Ladies and gents, we have a new star! The fairytale continues!
A supreme performance from 15-year-old Cori Gauff, and who knows how far she can go now?!
She plays Slovenian Polona Hercog on Friday in the third round, for a chance to reach the second week of a Grand Slam.Â
